Reykjavik

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to enjoy Flyover Iceland & Lava Show. After lunch we proceed to visit the city in an orientation tour. We start the tour by visiting the picturesque church of Reykjavik, the Hallgrimskirkja. The striking concrete Hallgrimskirkja church would appear to come out of fairy tale movies. Later we visit the rotating Perlan glass dome offer sweeping views of the sea and nearby hills. The Orientation tour would also take us to the old town area, drive by the harpa musical hall later we will get some free time to explore the city on foot. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in Reykjavik.

Reykjavik to Akuryeri

Check out of the motel and head to Akuryeri after breakfast. The crater is easily accessible by walk and climbs to a height of around 170 meters above the ground when visiting Grabrok. To make the trek simpler, stairs have been placed on a portion of the steep terrain. It is among the longest in Iceland, spanning a distance of ninety kilometers. The last eruption at Hnappadalur occurred roughly a millennium ago. We then go on driving to Akuryeri, where we check into the hotel. If the weather is right, there's a chance you could see the northern lights* from the hotel itself because of how far away our location is from any light pollution. Stay the night in Akuryeri.

Diamond Circle Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Diamond Circle. Today we enjoy North Iceland's most famous Diamond Circle tour. We stop first on route at Godafoss waterfall, the waterfall of the pagan gods. Then we continue to the Lake Myvatn area where we spend some time exploring the wonders around the lake, which is one of Iceland's most interesting regions with fantastic volcanic formation, geothermal activity and lake itself, teeming with bird life, particularly ducks. Then we see Dimmuborgir lava formations, also Skutustadur pseudocrates. Later we visit the amazing boiling mud pools and steam vents of Namaskard, and then the Krafia area, where a series of volcanic eruptions tool place from 1975-1984. Later we visit Dettifoss (Subject to weather conditions) which is one of the biggest and most powerful waterfalls of Iceland. Evening proceeds back to Akuryeri. Evening return to the hotel. Overnightstay at Akuryeri.

Akuryeri to Borganes (En-route Into the Glacier)

Check out of the accommodation in the morning after breakfast and head to Reykholt. While traveling, stop by the stunning Hraunfossar Waterfalls. This waterfall was created by rivulets that came from the Hallmundarhraun, a lava field caused by a volcano explosion that occurred beneath Langjökull's glacier. The waterfall is roughly 900 meters long. Don't forget to visit Barnafoss, which was formerly known as Bjarnafoss. Hraunfossar, which erupted from the massive lava plain of Hallmundarhraun, is close to Barnafoss. Continue your tour to Into the Glacier, which provides access to the world's largest man-made ice tunnel. Situated high atop Langjökull, Iceland's second largest glacier, are the caverns and ice tunnel, providing an incredible chance for exploration.

Borganes to Hella (Golden Circle)

After breakfast proceed towards Hella, we go on Golden Circle route, where we will visit Thingvellir National Park. The park is a place of great beauty located on the biggest lake of Iceland (Silfra Lake). where the Tectonic Plates of North America and Euro Asia continent drifts apart each year. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We continue our journey towards Geyser - home to the Little Geyser & the great Strokkur Geyser which erupts about every 8 Minutes. Then we visit Gullfoss Waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in Europe that falls in two folds. At the end of the day proceed to Hella area. Overnight at Hella Area.

Jökulsarlon (Glacier Lagoon) and Diamond beach

Proceed to Glacier Lagoon after breakfast. Also referred to as the Water Glacier in English, this ice cap is the biggest and most voluminous in Iceland and among the largest in Europe. Savor a Amphibian Boat Ride: This 30- to 40-minute adventure comes with an English-speaking guide who will educate you on the lagoon's geology and history. Continue on to Diamond Beach, where there are plenty of photo opportunities. We pause for a photo stop as we travel via Skaftafell National Park. Back at the hotel in the evening. Spend the night in the Hella Area.

Black Sand Beach (Dc Plane), Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Reynisfjra. Today we are going to visit Black sand beach & Basalt Stone. Reynisfjara is a world-famous black - sand beach found on the South Coast of Iceland, just beside the small fishing village of Vík í Mýrdal. With its enormous basalt stacks, roaring Atlantic waves and stunning panoramas, Reynisfjara is widely considered to be the most beautiful example of Iceland's black sand beaches. Further proceed to visit DC Plane Wreck. Later proceed towards Seljalandsfoss Waterfall & Skógafoss. Overnight stay in Hella area.

Hella to Reykjavik (Blue Lagoon)

Check out of the accommodation in the morning after breakfast and make your way to Reykjavik. One of the most popular tourist destinations in Iceland is Blue Lagoon, a geothermal spa that we visit before continuing on to the main city. Situated near Grind Avik on the Reykjanes Peninsula, the spa is situated on a lava field. Proceed to the hotel in Reykjavik to check in. You are free to relax and go on your own sightseeing around the city after check-in. Spend the night in Reykjavik.

Airport Drop

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and transfer to the airport. Board your flight to onward destination. Tour ends with Sweet Memories of Iceland with Gem Tours & Travels.
