MANALI–SOLANG VALLEY

MANALI LOCAL CITY TOUR

Situated approximately 6 miles from Manali, it bears the name Jawaharlal Nehru in honor of the late prime minister. Because Nehru drank water from the Kund while traveling to Manali, the Kund got its name.
•The Manali Gompa is a significant hub for Buddhists from Tibet, Nepal, Ladakh, Spiti, Kinnaur, and Lahaul. The current monastery, which was constructed in the 1960s, is well-known for its wall paintings, choir stalls, and a sizable figure of Lord Buddha.
